Chinese teachers are a lot stricter than the Japanese ones and also a lot more direct… and I still suck at kanji sobsob Drawn with APH characters because… it’s just easier this way. LOL I can definitely agree to this xDD I took Mandarin Chinese in High School for three years, and my teacher was practically a dictator, grounding us hard to get the strokes and memorize about 20-30 characters a day, making sure our pronunciation and everything was correct, writing the characters ten times in a row.  Taking Japanese in uni, and having my family help me with it.. its pretty lax and learning the kanji isn’t as dire, they want us to memorize at our own desirable pace. Which is.. nice, but not as effective as my Chinese teacher, OTL. So.. THIS ^^^^^^^^ ALL THIS xD ))  THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MY CHINESE TEACHER IS DOING TO ME RIGHT NOW!! I’m in my second semester, and of course my pronunciation sucks. So when I get it wrong, she yells “NO YOU ARE WRONG.” uff, it makes me just want to cry sometimes ;_;
